The Dresser splits for ease of transportation.
You could use both pieces separately as a wall mounted shelving unit and sideboard.
The Details
We have hand spray painted the Dresser in an Equivalent quality paint (in my opinion) to Farrow and Ball Eggshell.
In the colour matched equivalent paint colour called
'TRENON'
A sage green grey colour.
Tones in beautifully with all colour palettes...including Creams, Greys and Whites.
We have NOT distressed the paintwork.
However the paint will naturally distress with use over time, giving the set that lovely Shabby Chic effect so many people love. I think these piece will look all the better for it naturally distressing. Part of its charm as it does not look like a high street bought item , nor should you want it to look that way. It’s beautiful with all it’s past history scars.
We do send a touch up pot of paint as accidents do happen.

The Dresser Top
The Dresser top has 2 sanded shelves and a row of 7 drawers each with an aged brass knob.
Perfect for displaying your treasures.
At the back of each shelf there is a groove so you can display plates if you so wish.
The Dresser Base
We have sanded and clear oiled the Dresser base top.
The vintage solid oak wood is beautiful.
The Dresser base has 3 central drawers with 2 cupboards either side each with a sanded and oiled shelf . There is plenty of internal storage space.
We have added new aged brass knobs that is in keeping with the age of the furniture but these can easily be changed if you want a more modern feel. Chrome Knobs and and cup handles would look equally as nice.
The Condition
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY AND ONLY BUY IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THE CONDITION
The Antique Dresser is not new, but it is in good used condition with knock's and dings to the woodwork here and there commensurate of it’s age.
There is a split in the back board wood at the right hand side going vertically , we have stopped the light shining through from the back , but the split remains.

The Dresser has been *sanded, undercoated and then hand spray painted so please do not expect a factory style finish....although we think it looks pretty good !
Spray painting gives a lovely smooth finish. Easy to wipe clean.The paintwork may distress further,this is part of the natural shabby chic style
