We restore vintage furniture with a thoughtful approach to colour and finish, preserving its individual character while creating pieces to enjoy in today’s homes.

The Details

An elegant vintage bureau bringing together display, storage and a neatly concealed writing space.

The central drop-down desk sits above three drawers, flanked by two glazed cupboards with two shelves in each. Slender glazing bars, softly shaped door details and curved legs add to its graceful proportions.

Filled with favourite books, collected ceramics or glassware, it would make a distinctive addition to a modern country living room or dining room. The fold-away writing surface also offers a practical place for correspondence or a quiet creative corner.

Paint Colour

Frenchic — Olivia.

A mid-toned olive green with pronounced brown notes. This grounded shade brings understated depth and a heritage-inspired feel, beautifully complemented by the muted tones of the exposed wood.

We have not distressed the paintwork, as we prefer a more classic look to our paint finish.

However, the paint will naturally distress/chip with use over time.

A tin of ‘touch up’ paint can be purchased upon request.

Wood / Wood Finish

The exposed wood has been finished in our Blended Oak Wax Finish, creating a washed brown oak effect that allows the natural grain and character to remain visible.

Furniture care instructions are supplied.

Hardware

Antique brass-effect cup handles complement the central drawers. Working locks with keys supplied.
